Hi there, we’re Dynamite Ventures, the umbrella company for the site you’re on (Dynamite Jobs), Remote First Recruiting, our podcast (TropicalMBA) and entrepreneurial community (Dynamite Circle) that connects founders of online businesses (mostly e-commerce, SaaS, and Agencies) with each other through a variety of products like Masterminds, an online forum, and events all around the world.

Our company is long-standing (by internet standards) with our first event being hosted in 2011. Since that time we've hosted hundreds of events all around the world and expanded into a hub of resources, products, and services for founders across the globe.

We’re a small but mighty team spread across 4 continents and are looking for a highly motivated bookkeeper to join our team part-time (20-25 hours/month).

😎 About You

You're growth-oriented, hard-working, and looking for a breakout role with a dynamic and growing company. An excellent communicator and ambitious bookkeeping professional. You’ve ideally worked on smaller remote teams with less than 30 employees and are looking for a long-term part-time role.

You are someone who:

• We can trust

• Works hard and has excellent attention to detail

• Has prior experience with accrual basis accounting

• Doesn’t mind going the extra mile when necessary

• Has prior experience working in a remote environment

• Is able to assist in getting the books closed the first week of every month

📣 About the Role

You will work closely with, and with the support of, our Fractional Controller to support all of our business entities.

📌 Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries into accounting software

• Accurately and timely record revenue and expenses

• Perform monthly bank and credit card account reconciliations and

• identify and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare and send invoices to clients using QuickBooks Online

📝 Requirements

• Fluent written & verbal English

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping

• Prior QuickBooks Online experience

• Prior experience with Stripe a plus

• Accounts Receivable / Invoicing

• Accounts Payable

• Accrual Basis Accounting

• Detail Oriented

• Proactive Communicator
