Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee all human resources functions for our employees in Peru. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Reporting to the Sr. Manager in the US, the HR Manager will serve as a key business partner, supporting talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participates in business unit staff meetings and provides HR leadership, builds deep understanding of the business unit needs and takes responsibility to anticipate needs or take action in support of effective human capital development.

  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management and competently uses analytics to spot trends and issues (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Provides informed advice to the business on restructures, workforce planning and identification of high potentials for succession planning or further development needs.

  • Partner with global HR teams to align local HR strategies with broader corporate objectives.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations ensuring compliance related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with Peruvian labor laws and company guidelines. Champion organizational change initiatives and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.

  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR best practices, conflict resolution, and employee relations matters.

  • Manage HR data and reporting, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.

  • Partner with Payroll and Benefits team to ensure accurate payroll processing and benefits administration in coordination with local providers.

  • Lead talent development initiatives, including training programs, career development plans, and succession planning.

  • Interprets data and makes recommendations; asks critical questions needed to evaluate data; gathers, analyzes and presents data to managers, directors and business leaders and recommends solutions that support the culture and the strategy of E2open.

  • Drive a strong company culture, promoting engagement, diversity, and inclusion.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An HR certification is a plus.

  • Minimum three years’ experience in an HR management role, preferably in a multinational company. Prior HR Business Partner experience with proven expertise in developing effective business partner relationships, influencing leadership, management and employee coaching, employee relations, workforce management, and training development and delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of Peruvian labor laws, payroll processes, and HR best practices.

  • Proven experience in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HR challenges.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

  • Experience working in the technology or software industry is a plus.
