Business Development Executive

If you have experience in a sales role and knowledge of the property industry then you're the perfect fit for our growing Sales team. 



About the role

As a Business Development Executive at flatfair, you'll have the autonomy to identify and deliver new business opportunities that will generate revenue, improve profitability, and ensure that flatfair continues to grow.

You'll target new clients, nurture marketing leads and represent flatfair at industry events. You'll be measured on the conversion of new opportunities to signed deals that deliver profitable deposit plan sales. 

You'll build relationships over the phone and face to face, educating new clients on the flatfair product and how we can help them achieve their strategic goals. 

Once signed, you'll work with new clients to ensure they reach their potential by providing first-class post-sale support through the onboarding and training process. 

We're a small team, so your role will include sourcing leads, building out your network and profile within the industry, writing pitch decks, and providing input to Commercial team projects and initiatives across the business as appropriate. 

About you

You'll have experience in a target-driven sales role.

We're looking for someone who can work independently and thrives on working to a clear target. Motivated by solving customer needs, you'll thrive when demonstrating the value of flatfair's product to new contacts within the property industry.

You'll be familiar with the property industry, although previous proptech experience isn't essential.

You'll have the opportunity to grow with us as we continue to diversify our product offering, expand our client base and achieve our vision of making every rental experience a positive one. 

You'll be based remotely and spend 25 - 50% of your time travelling to clients across your region (depending on your location).

Over the last 5 years, we've helped over 30,000 tenants save £25 million in upfront costs and provided increased rental protection on 2,000 properties. As well as improving our core product, we're identifying, testing and launching new innovations to make every rental experience a positive one.
