People Operations Generalist

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a People Operations Generalist you will be an operations point of contact ensuring that our Fortizens have a great employee experience. As a member of our global People Team, you’ll be an advocate for our remote-first, global culture and our company values. You’ll be exceptionally focused on making sure our HR systems run seamlessly and effectively so our employees can focus on their highest impact work. You’ll build strong and collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to develop policies and programs that help employees thrive.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

  • Implement and support high impact projects or programs such as compliance programs, roll out of new benefits initiatives, and other HR initiatives. 

  • Provide high-quality support to our employees answering just-in-time questions they might have regarding their employee experience.

  • Support our global business through HR programs such as performance management and employee engagement (Ie. Onboarding).

  • Partner with our HRIS systems team to analyze data and keep our systems operationally efficient. 

  • Track progress through project management software such as ClickUp, JIRA, Confluence, and Workday.

  • Build relationships with cross-functional global teams

  • Maintain high-quality written and verbal communication with internal and external customers throughout project lifecycles.

  • Run postmortems to help the People organization continuously learn and grow.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 5+ years of experience in people operations / human resources

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Demonstrated passion for client services, with a focus on delivering a positive customer experience

  • Proficient in Workday, Greenhouse, and other HR systems and a strong attention to detail to improve our HR processes

  • Experience working with internal and external partners and vendors to collaboratively achieve goals

  • Experience with data, analysis, trends, and reports

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment

  • Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills 

  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership and collaboration skills

  • Experience using data to generate  business insights to guide business decisions

  • Knowledge of Romanian employment law and labor practices a plus
