Job Description

You’ll be the face and voice of FreightSimple, providing a great experience for our customers, nurturing leads, relaying feedback to the team, and building meaningful relationships.

This role involves making many phone calls daily (up to 100 calls). You should be comfortable spending your days on the phone and have a proven ability to work independently in a quiet, focused setting.

Your feedback matters here. When you hear what customers need, our engineering and operations teams listen and act on it. You’re not just selling a product, you’re helping shape it.

Key Responsibilities

New Customers

  • Be the first point of contact for new leads and customers

  • Help them understand the value FreightSimple provides

  • Convert leads into new customers

  • Nurture new customers from their first shipment to becoming regular shippers

Existing Customers

  • Check in with existing customers on a regular basis to ensure we are continuing to meet their needs and grow the business

  • Identify and solve problems for customers

  • Communicate with our support, operations, and technical teams to advocate for customers

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills

  • Proven experience in sales roles, preferably over the phone

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Demonstrated patience and confidence when dealing with challenging situations

  • High emotional intelligence, innate curiosity in others, and a desire to help

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software

  • The ability to efficiently manage time and tasks

  • This is a sales role, and the ability to convert leads into customers is fundamental
