Senior Manager, Strategy, Project Management & Evaluation

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for impact and innovation? Gold Standard is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Strategy, Project Management & Evaluation to lead the development and execution of our strategic planning, project management, and performance evaluation frameworks.

Today, our standard, ‘Gold Standard for the Global Goals’, allows climate and development initiatives within carbon markets, corporate supply chains, and sustainable finance to manage, measure and maximise their impacts toward the Net Zero ambition of the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals.   

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

  • Lead the development and refinement of strategic frameworks, theories of change, and corporate results architecture. 

  • Oversee strategic planning cycles, prioritisation processes, and alignment across departments. 

  • Design and implement a robust Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework to track impact and performance. 

  • Establish project management standards and guide high-priority initiatives across the organisation. 

  • Provide strategic insights and reporting to the Executive Management Team and Board. 

  • Support analysis and research of key developments within the Gold Standard ecosystem to assess market dynamics, stakeholder behavior, and other emerging considerations that inform strategic direction.  

  • Support the analysis and research of current and champion a learning culture through assessments, reviews, and adaptive management. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • A seasoned strategist with solid experience in strategy, Monitoring & Evaluation and project management. 

  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and complex initiatives with strong ability to problem solve. 

  • Strong technical expertise in strategic planning and results-based management 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. 

  • Experience in a consulting/ management consulting environment is a strong plus 

  • Certification in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus 

  • Experience with data visualisation and performance dashboards is a plus. 

  • Experience working in an international or mission driven organisation is a plus
