Content Manager & Community Support (International)

🌀 LOGISTICS SUMMARY

  • Location: 100% remote, international candidates

    • Must be able to work with majority overlap during EST business hours (10am–6pm).

  • Estimated time commitment: ~40 hours per week (with paid time off provided) 

    • We’re also open to outstanding candidates who can dedicate a minimum of ~25 hours per week, with compensation pro-rated.

  • Compensation: $1,500–$3,000 monthly (international comp range)

  • Timeline: Applications accepted until the position is filled

  • Requirements:

    • We’re looking for candidates with at least 2+ years of experience in some/most of the following: writing, content creation, digital marketing, or roles involving communication, operations, event, content, or project management, or executive support.

  • Tech stack:

    • Ideally experienced in our core tech stack: Asana, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Airtable, Circle

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

This is an exciting, flexible role for a proactive, detail-oriented, and thoughtful communicator who thrives in variety and loves supporting a mission-driven team. You’ll be working closely with our Editorial & Experience Manager, CEO, and Head of Community, helping us keep our community experience warm, engaging, and seamless.

Content & Communications

  • Draft engaging weekly and monthly newsletters by curating content from our member platform (Circle) and preparing campaigns in Mailchimp

  • Help craft high-quality written content for newsletters, PR outreach, and member communications (with the support of AI where useful)

  • Draft and QA event descriptions in collaboration with our copyeditor

  • Support social media engagement across our channels, ensuring a playful, thoughtful, and on-brand tone

Community & Events

  • Assist with planning community events, including scheduling, coordinating with speakers, and drafting communications

  • Monitor and engage in Circle to keep discussions vibrant, supportive, and well-organized

  • Jump in on ad hoc marketing and content initiatives that support community growth and member experience

Team & Operational Support

  • Support the CEO, Head of Community, and Editorial & Experience Manager with inbox management and email drafting

  • Own the day-to-day tracking and execution of your projects in Asana—managing timelines, surfacing blockers, and ensuring deliverables stay on schedule

  • Pitch in across the team wherever needed—especially when it helps maintain our high-touch, thoughtful approach to members

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in writing, content creation, or digital marketing—examples include drafting newsletters, managing social media (ideally LinkedIn and Instagram), or handling digital workflows.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in roles that involve a mix of communication, operations, and support—such as project management, executive support, community management, coordinating events or content, customer success, or related fields

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey your ideas with clarity, persuasion, and authenticity.

  • Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy allow you to produce high-quality work that matches the team's high standards and goals.

  • You excel at self-management, ensuring thoroughness and efficiency in a fully remote work environment.

  • You don’t just execute—you bring strong judgment and proactive problem-solving skills to understand context, anticipate impacts, and make decisions that align with team goals.

  • You’re a curious self-starter who asks great questions, takes initiative, and enjoys making things easier for others.

  • Ability to follow instructions with precision. Special note to see if you’re paying attention. Put the secret code “Let’s do this!” in the last application question.

  • You are quick to pick up new tech and tools. Bonus if you are familiar and confident in using tools like: Mailchimp, Canva, Google Suite (Drive/Docs/Sheets), Asana, Wix, Missive, Circle, MailMeteor, Chargebee, Typeform, and more.
