About the role
🙋 We are looking for a Product Manager for our Developer Relationships squad. Are you passionate about Platforms, SaaS, and APIs? Is working with a real-world application that touches the lives of millions your thing? Do you have experience in discovering requirements for APIs and Developer Portals? Are you comfortable writing API documentation? Then yeah, Gorgias is for you.
In DevRel, your mission is to empower third-party developers to build high-quality integrations. You will work closely with engineering and other product teams to design & build best-in-class APIs for customers and partners. These APIs are critical to offering the helpdesk data functionality that our customers demand and will allow partners of all kinds to integrate apps that expand Gorgias functionality to solve unique customer problems.
👀 Examples of projects in our DevRel roadmap include creating new webhooks triggers and API endpoints, expanding the # of Apps in the analytics category, and scoping & launching a developer portal.
What you'll do
Responsible for managing Gorgias APIs, ensuring API design meets customer needs, and applying best practices that cultivate a developer experience that will delight our partners and customers.
Own our App Store, driving our partners through the developer’s journey to build, maintain and scale integrations that help us grow our ecosystem to meet customers’ needs.
Builds and owns the DevRel product roadmap, prioritizing items and executing to achieve our OKRs.
Apply product management best practices to gather user insights and feedback to create and validate additional use cases for the API, translating these needs into specifications and product requirements.
Define metrics to measure APIs and Apps adoption; build dashboards to track and monitor integrations' impact on business metrics.
Partners with Product Designers and Engineers to ensure product features and processes align with the highest quality standards.
Coordinate the launch of new apps and features with customer-facing teams, including the Marketing, Success, Sales, and Business Development teams.

Handle day-to-day questions and feedback on our product, APIs, and app integrations.
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
You have 3 - 5 years of experience as a Product Manager with at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch.
You have strong experience working with APIs, managing RESTful APIs for SaaS products, and co-authoring API documentation.
You have a solid analytical skillset using BI tools, SQL, or related coding language.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with clear, measurable OKRs
You're obsessed with delivering value to customers and base your decisions on facts & data
You've had significant & quantifiable impacts on past products you've worked on
You like to work with all teams, from engineers to success
Former engineering or development experience using APIs (nice to have)
Ecommerce industry experience (nice to have)
Helpdesk industry experience (a great plus)
You are fluent in English (mandatory)
Interview process
Initial Phone Screen, 30 min - Meet your recruiter for an introductory call in which you get to know more about Gorgias and the position, and we get to learn more about you.
Product Interview, 30 min - Meet your manager, Jimmy. You will discuss more in-depth your work experience and how your knowledge can add value to the team.
Engineering Interview, 30 min - Meet your engineering counterpart Max for a short 30-min interview as he will be your partner in crime on the engineering side. You will cover questions about the product/engineering collaboration.
Case Study Submission, 5 hours - Prepare a case study at home with a technical assessment & specific contextualized questions. The details of the case study will be communicated by email with specific instructions.
Case Study Review, 45 min - Meet with Lisa, Max, and Jimmy for a live review of the case study. Together you will review the case study point by point, brainstorm, and/or elaborate on key elements.
CPO Interview 45 min - Meet Paul, CPO, an excellent opportunity to dive into product strategy & vision.
Founder Interview, 30 min - Meet our CTO and co-founder Alex for a short 30-min interview. This is a good time to ask difficult questions and see if we are a good match for you!
