About You
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our core team. You will be responsible for the overall development, design, and implementation of front-end and back-end services. You will own the system end-to-end, from technical design to performance testing and system integrations. You will work closely with our founders and product team, helping us build a user experience that our customers love.
Responsibilities:
Build and scale services in Python and Django, Flask, or similar application frameworks
Work on user-focused applications and interfaces
Build pixel-perfect front-end components for the web app (we use Lit framework)
Identify, assess and improve bottle-necks or scaling issues
Always look for opportunities to make the product better.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
Previous experience building products as a full-stack engineer
Proficient in Python and Django/Flask/similar frameworks, Typescript, or one of the many frontend frameworks.
Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks.
High-level project management skills.
A product-focused mindset and the drive to use First Principles to build great products
Bonus Experience:
Contributing to the Python community through code, documentation, mentoring, or speaking.
Experience with development on GCP or AWS.

The estimated salary for this role is up to $180,000 CAD or $170,000 USD. Final base salary decisions will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, such as the individual’s performance, experience and qualifications.
