Who You Are

Reporting to the Sr. Corporate Tax Manager, as our Sr. Tax Accountant you’ll support Corporate Income Tax.

You’ll be the go-to technical expert for:

  • U.S. federal and state corporate income tax compliance.

  • Quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision.

  • Estimated payments.

  • SOX-compliant internal controls.

  • Defensible, scalable tax positions in a high-growth SaaS environment.

What You Will Do

  • Compliance & Filing: Prepare, review, and file U.S. federal/state corporate income tax returns, quarterly estimated payments, and extensions.

  • Tax Provision (ASC 740): Prepare/review quarterly and annual provision calculations, deferred tax computations, effective tax rate reconciliations, and disclosures.

  • Technical Research: Analyze federal/state law changes, apportionment methodologies, and nexus standards; document conclusions to audit-ready standards.

  • Audit Defense: Manage IDRs and support leadership during federal/state audits.

  • SOX Controls & GL Reconciliation: Execute SOX controls over tax close; prepare/review reconciliations for deferred tax assets/liabilities and payable accounts in NetSuite.

  • Cross-Functional Advisory: Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Legal on new entities, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years in corporate income tax (federal & state), mix of public accounting and corporate preferred.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong ASC 740 knowledge and U.S. corporate tax fundamentals.

  • SOX & Controls: Experience designing, executing, and documenting tax controls.

  • SaaS Expertise: Familiarity with tax issues in multi-state SaaS companies.

  • Tech Stack: Experience with ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and tax platforms (ONESOURCE, Corptax).

  • Analytical Muscle: Advanced Excel (pivots, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation); familiarity with Power BI, Alteryx a plus.

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or Master of Taxation is a plus.

  • Mindset: Agility, growth mindset, and ability to pivot in fast-growth environments.

  • Communication: Skilled at translating complex tax concepts into plain English for non-finance stakeholders.
