What You Will Do:
Identify audio opportunities in the project and work collaboratively to realize the audio vision
Integrate audio assets into Wwise and UE5, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility
Research and prototype emerging audio technologies (e.g., spatial audio, AI-driven systems) to push creative boundaries
Partner with programmers to define audio requirements for game features and ensure seamless system integration
Optimize audio assets and runtime performance using profiling tools, balancing quality with technical constraints
Debug and resolve audio-related technical issues (e.g., memory optimization, latency, platform-specific quirks)
Document technical processes and mentor junior designers on best practices
Adapt workflows for remote collaboration across time zones using async tools and clear communication
What We Are Looking For:
5+ years in sound design for games, with at least 2 in a technical role
Expertise in DAWs (Pro Tools, Reaper), audio middleware (Wwise/FMOD), scripting (Python, C#/C++), and game engines (Unreal/Unity)
Proven ability to debug complex technical issues and optimize for performance
Strong understanding of adaptive audio design and remote team dynamics
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the entire video game development process
Pluses:
Experience with AAA games
Familiarity with version control (Perforce, Git) and CI/CD pipelines
