Talent Operations Manager

Job description.

Huge is looking for a Talent Operations Manager to join the Talent Team. Partnering closely with the leadership teams across all functional areas of the business, the Talent Operations Manager will provide both administrative and tactical support for Canada and UK employees. You should be an expert in at least one of these countries and willing to learn the counterpart.

The Talent Operations Manager will drive seamless administration and operations that are aligned with the people needs of the business and will play a vital role by bringing best practices to the agency in alignment with organizational goals.

What you’ll be doing.

  • In this role, you will be acting mostly in an Individual Contributor (IC) capacity, and will be expected to handle complex tactical and administrative HR tasks within a high-growth and evolving organization. 

  • You’ll update and maintain our HRIS for Canada and UK employees, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Support payroll and benefit queries from employees, escalating issues to appropriate personnel as needed.

  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including preparing offer letters and employment contracts, conducting new hire orientations, and exit interviews.

  • Assist with benefit enrollment and opt-out process, and provide support to employees with benefit-related queries.

  • Respond to employee queries on HR policies, procedures, and benefits, and escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel as needed.

  • Manage leave requests, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

  • Prepare and distribute HR-related communications and correspondence, including offer letters, employment contracts, and termination letters.

  • Assist with compliance reporting and audits, as required.

  • Assist with reporting and other data analytics projects.

What we’d like to see.

  • 4-6 years of generalist HR and/or talent operations experience including experience with employee relations, immigration/mobility, payroll and benefits administration.

  • Experience working within a multinational organization within shared services. 

  • Working knowledge of and ability to advise on employment and immigration law.

  • Effectively navigates through ambiguity, using multiple data points to analyze issues and identify trends.

  • Looks for opportunities to exceed existing expectations for personal and/or organizational performance and acts on them.

  • Key traits are self-driven, proactive problem solver and growth mindset. 

  • Experience onboarding new hires, as well as handling voluntary and involuntary exits.

  • An ability to actively build and manage relationships with Huge leaders, employees, and the global talent team.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • High English level, full professional proficiency.
