Senior QA Engineer - AdmiTrade

About the role:

Shape the quality behind the next-gen trading platform. As our Senior QA Engineer, you’ll take ownership of quality across a fast-moving, high-stakes trading platform, designed for institutions operating in the digital assets space.

You’ll help ensure every release is battle-tested and ready for production. You’ll work alongside developers, building scalable automated tests that are integrated next to the frontend application code. Your tests validate complex financial logic, ensure risk is under control, and let our team ship with confidence.

We’re aiming for 100% test automation and a fully integrated CI/CD pipeline where code goes live only if it passes strict quality standards.

Join us remotely, you can be located anywhere in Europe within the CET/CEST time zones, as our work is 100% remote. This is a full-time position.

AdmiTrade - we are a market maker in the crypto industry. We build algorithmic trading applications for the execution of automated trading strategies. Now, we’re entering our next phase: creating a platform for institutional clients and high-net-worth investors, offering margin trading and passive growth options.

What you will be doing:

• Design, build, and maintain robust end‑to‑end test suites for web (Playwright) that scale 

• Run manual exploratory sessions on new or high‑risk features, uncovering edge cases before users do

• Translate business requirements into crisp acceptance criteria, test cases, and BDD scenarios

• Collaborate with product, frontend, backend, and DevOps during planning, refinement, and daily stand‑ups

• Integrate tests within the CI/CD pipeline, hunt flaky failures, and champion test health metrics

• Track defects, craft clear test reports, and surface risks early to drive data‑driven decisions

• Review QA code, share knowledge, and mentor engineers on quality‑first thinking

• Create and refine testing guidelines and documentation so everyone can contribute to quality

What you need to succeed:

• 5+ years in QA with a strong focus on front‑end automation (Playwright)

• Solid TypeScript skills and experience writing maintainable automated test suites

• Hands‑on API testing experience (REST/GraphQL; Postman or similar)

• Proven history with BDD and Agile delivery

• Collaborative spirit, curiosity, and a knack for tackling complex challenges

• Fluent English (B2+) and excellent communication

• Background in fintech, trading, or other regulated, high‑velocity environments.
