Position Description
Jobvite is seeking a mid-level UX designer to play a key role on our User Experience team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers and developers to create a structured, intuitive experience for our users. The right candidate will have an eye for clean design, possess superior visual/interaction design skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into flawless user experiences.
Requirements
4+ years of professional experience in product design or UX
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent experience
Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Miro
Strong interface and interaction design skills
Expertise in accessibility and usability standards
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
Strong plus: experience with a variety of user research techniques
Plus: Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration software systems
Plus: Experience in an Agile development environment
Online portfolio with case studies showcasing your process
Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather user requirements
Create and iterate on wireframes, process flows, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas
Conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design challenges
Design end-to-end workflows for high-quality implementation and intuitive user experiences
Collaborate with cross-functional team to get feedback on product direction, visuals, and experience
Collaborate with product managers and development teams to create functional and technical specifications
Participate in Agile ceremonies and team meetings
