UX Designer

Position Description

Jobvite is seeking a mid-level UX designer to play a key role on our User Experience team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers and developers to create a structured, intuitive experience for our users. The right candidate will have an eye for clean design, possess superior visual/interaction design skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into flawless user experiences.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in product design or UX

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Miro

  • Strong interface and interaction design skills

  • Expertise in accessibility and usability standards

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively

  • Strong plus: experience with a variety of user research techniques

  • Plus: Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration software systems

  • Plus: Experience in an Agile development environment

  • Online portfolio with case studies showcasing your process

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather user requirements

  • Create and iterate on wireframes, process flows, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas

  • Conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design challenges

  • Design end-to-end workflows for high-quality implementation and intuitive user experiences

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to get feedback on product direction, visuals, and experience

  • Collaborate with product managers and development teams to create functional and technical specifications

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and team meetings
