Motion Designer/Video Editor

About the Opportunity

Join Kadena's creative team as a Motion Designer/Video Editor and delve into creating captivating and innovative animations and videos. In this dynamic role, you'll work closely with our Creative Director, playing a pivotal role from the initial concept to the final video production. We value efficiency, creativity, and a commitment to high-quality work.

This position will report directly to our Creative Director, with the opportunity to grow with the role and company. 

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Take projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery at every stage.

  • Create engaging concepts, style frames, and storyboards for a diverse range of projects, including 2D and 3D animations, and video editing.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with our design and marketing, contributing to an environment that values creativity and technical excellence.

  • Stay updated with current creative trends in visual effects and apply innovative approaches to your work.

  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and client expectations, both creatively and technically.

What Sets You Apart

  • 3+ years of experience in motion graphics and/or video editing.

  • Comprehensive understanding of video production and animation workflow.

  • Proficiency in Premiere and After Effects.

  • Knowledge of Cinema 4d and Redshift.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

  • Artistic ability in asset and set development.

  • Familiarity with production pipelines and current creative trends.

  • Adaptability to new technologies and tools in the rapidly evolving field of motion graphics and video editing.

  • Technical Skills

    • Microsoft Windows or Mac OS Operating systems

    • Adobe After Effects,

    • Adobe Photoshop

    • Adobe Illustrator

    • Adobe Premiere

    • Cinema 4D/RedShift

    • X-Particles (Bonus)

    • GSG Products (Bonus)

    • Figma (Bonus)

This role has an annual starting salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 + benefits listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.
