At Kindbridge Behavioral Health, we’re on a mission to make high-quality behavioral health care accessible to everyone. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper (30 hours/week) to help support the financial operations that keep our organization running smoothly. In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day accounting activities across three entities, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, accounts payable, and other core financial processes. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our financial records remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
Prepare and post journal entries as part of our routine accounting operations
Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
Process accounts payable, including vendor setup, invoice review, coding, and payment processing
Track accounts receivable activity and support cash application
Assist with payroll-related entries and reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Maintain organized documentation to support financial reporting and external audits
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency within accounting workflows
Qualifications
5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a corporate, healthcare, or services environment
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks is required
Experience supporting reconciliations, AP, AR, and recurring accounting tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage routine, repeatable accounting tasks accurately
Experience with healthcare billing systems, EMRs, or practice management software preferred
Background with a small to medium accounting firm a plus
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Ability to work approximately 30 hours per week

Remote pay range
$20 - $25 USD
