Senior Product Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our team and drive the development and growth of our Accessibility Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for championing our product's knowledge, understanding the problems it solves, and effectively communicating the benefits it offers to our customers and end-users. Leveraging data and insights, you will play a pivotal role in making informed product decisions and shaping our product's future.

The Platform Product Manager will take a broader look at the platform and ensure we have a competitive advantage. The scope for this role includes performance, scalability, and security, which includes Development and Design components, such as design systems, import/export tools or engines used across the product, and tooling to set up and administer the platform. It also includes fundamental building development building blocks for platform workflows and product visibility. Each item enables the product and engineering teams to be more efficient and concentrate on building high-value business applications, increasing the application's ease of use and quality. You will manage large stability and architectural challenges to align business value to build a scalable and performance-driven solution. 

Responsibilities

  •        Drive the overall knowledge of the product, the problems it solves, and the benefits it offers customers and end-users

  •        Use data and insights to inform product decisions and independently define the analysis we need for good decision making

  •        Serve as product owner for key applications

  •        Lead exploration of new use cases, mapping our unique science/engineering capabilities to market opportunities, iterating quickly towards MVP and in-market testing

  •        Major contributor to product vision and roadmap

  •        Interact with users to understand their needs and develop new opportunity hypotheses

  •        Daily interactions with our engineering, science, design, and go-to-market teams; driving alignment around our product vision and roadmap

  •        Stay on top of market trends, specifically related to Accessibility in the enterprise

  •        Drive product delivery, from alpha/beta MVP through to general release maturity

Qualifications

  •          7+ years in a technical role, with at least 4 of those in a product management role

  •          Fluent in English 

  •          Strong grasp of product management fundamentals and an interest to mentor others

  •          Focus on shipping product and experimenting in-market with engaged early adopters

  •          BSc. or equivalent in computer science or related fields

  •          Demonstrated technical knowledge of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD best practices

  •          Comfortable working with products that do not have a UI, such as SDKs for developers.

  •          Experience conducting user interviews and truly understanding and listening to problems

  •          Experience taking products from ideation to launch with clear success metrics for external or internal customers

  •          Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, and to listen carefully to the needs and experiences of others

  •          You thrive under the energy and ambiguity of early-stage product development, continually developing hypotheses, testing them, and iterating at a fast pace

Nice to have

  •         Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA)

  •         Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements

  •         Experience using diverse personas to influence product design

  •         Experience as a software developer or QA automation engineer

  •         Experience designing accessible experiences

  •         Experience with accessibility conformance testing
