Procurement Manager

As Procurement Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing our sourcing strategy, vendor relationships, cost optimization efforts, and procurement operations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring we have the hardware, software, services, and strategic partnerships in place to scale efficiently and sustainably.

This is a unique opportunity to build a procurement function in a rapidly evolving tech company working at the frontier of cloud storage

What You Will Do:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets

• Source and negotiate with vendors for hardware (servers, networking equipment), software licenses, and outsourced services

• Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, performance, and cost-efficiency

• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for products and services

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and operations to understand procurement needs and timing
  Own contract management and compliance, including SLAs, NDAs, and other legal documents

• Implement and manage procurement policies, tools, and best practices to improve transparency and control

• Analyze spend data and procurement KPIs to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements

Your Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally within a tech or startup environment

• Experience sourcing IT infrastructure (servers, storage systems, cloud services) is a major plus

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

• Deep understanding of supply chain and procurement best practices

• Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and the iterative nature of startups

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Experience with procurement tools and ERP systems
