Digital Marketing Operations Manager

The role

The Digital Marketing Operations Manager will play an integral part in scaling our Marketing organization through the management of the digital demand generation channels, oversight of Marketing website, and optimization of website data integrations. You’ll work to ensure optimal performance of the digital Marketing channels through A/B testing to drive maximum demand and engagement, the creation and execution of SEO strategies, and execution of digital advertising. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Demand Management, you will work cross-functionally to increase the efficacy of the Marketing technology stack for (1) increased Marketing program efficacy, (2) Marketing program personalization, and (3) data cleanliness and accurate business reporting. You’ll also be integral in analyzing funnel performance, optimizing the performance of digital demand channels, and consulting with stakeholders to leverage campaign insights to improve future campaign performance.

Why we'll love you

With 7+ years of experience in Marketing Operations and Marketing technology, you’re a Marketing Operations professional with a high degree of technical acumen, data focus, love for the details, and a passion for helping get things done as a team. You have demonstrated a deep technical knowledge of website management, SEO, digital advertising, and can translate digital performance into actionable insights. You can skillfully identify and manage areas of operational improvement based on the needs and strategies of Corporate Marketing, Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Community Engagement, Product Marketing, and Marketing Data teams. You love puzzles and problem solving and are driven to find solutions, being creative where necessary to help the entire team make the largest impact on both the business and the lives of Newsela’s customers. You’re able to balance the priorities of 20+ Marketers and prioritize projects for maximum impact and support for the team. In addition to your marketing process expertise, you have 5+ years of experience with Salesforce and Marketo. While not required, experience with 6Sense, Contentful, Optimizely, Workato, Snowflake, and/or GitHub is a plus.
