Main purpose: Our editor will perform editorial functions related to the ongoing development and creation of databases and media content, specifically in the audiovisual sphere. The ideal candidate loves movies and series, is familiar and up to date with TV schedules and the media sector in general. This person will be responsible for performing complex, high-volume manipulations on the entertainment information that forms the core of Gracenote's media database.

As responsabilidades incluem:

  • Edit and maintain metadata for TV schedules and online/streaming apps.

  • Create and organize movie and show information such as synopsis, titles, release date, cast/crew.

  • Consolidate data content and new program information into databases.

  • Maintain accurate information in database and provide timely update of listings information.

  • Ensure accuracy of editorial content, authenticity of program information and timely delivery to internal staff.

  • Provide timely update of listing information outside of business hours as required.

  • Direct workflow to absent teammates and provide refresher coverage between shifts to create an independent team.

  • Perform other duties assigned by the management team.

Qualificações:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • University degree in a media-related field or equivalent work is a plus.

  • A minimum of 3 years of related work experience is preferred.

  • Must be fluent in English and main language of supported countries

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office suite and Google suite are required.

  • Must be organized, self-motivated, exhibit strong attention to detail, multitasking and high energy.

  • Desirable in-depth knowledge of the television industry
