About the Role

We’re now looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to support our growth and join our Enterprise Team!

We're doing migrations to new frontend, for which you'd need Vue3, Typescript, Nuxt, but also the ability and willingness to help with legacy to fix things. We have a Django legacy app that’s our previous framework, and we have our new frontend application where some of the pages were migrated to Vue.

You'll need to like proactively jumping into issues, try to solve things you realize are broken. Most crucially, you're AI-driven, with a builder's mentality, and a bar-raiser 🚀

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and user-friendly frontend solutions for the Provet Pay platform

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to shape the product

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize for speed and scalability, through exploration and experimentation

  • Implement and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines

  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor less experienced engineers

  • Troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues, providing timely and effective resolutions

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and trends, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and infrastructure

What Will Help You Be Successful

  • 5 years of experience in software development

  • Exposure to the payments domain, card tokenization, checkout and authorization

  • Experience with TypeScript and large-scale JavaScript projects

  • Expert in Vue, and experience with React, focus is on strong fundamentals

  • Strong fundamentals in HTML and CSS and experience building accessible UI

  • Preferred experience in building a platform used by other products (UI)

  • Experience with automated frontend testing

  • Experience with Python/Django is a plus

  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD is a plus

  • Full proficiency in English, written and spoken

  • Comfortable and curious with AI coding assistance such as Cursor, Claude Code, GH Copilot
