Recruiting Sourcer Overview
Northstar is growing rapidly and needs a talented “hunter” to find people who could potentially be good candidates for our roles, which include technical, financial planner, and other business critical roles across Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You would be the 2nd person joining our Talent team giving you the ability to make a big impact on the future of our Talent division.
What you’ll do:
Evaluate the best talent for our organization and present the best caliber of candidates to recruiters.
Source for a wide variety of roles across our Product, Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Planning, and Operations teams.
Utilize a wide range of sourcing tools and databases to create a candidate pipeline.
Focus on creating a fantastic candidate experience from the first outreach.
Use creativity, diligence, and engaging communication to find, filter, and sell potential candidates for an open role.
Champion our company’s vision and voice, so you can confidently speak and share it with candidates, and help them understand the role’s importance within the larger organization.
Help define strategies for sourcing internationally.
Utilize data to learn and develop your processes.
Use tools to automate sourcing workflow when needed.
Help document new ways of researching, sorting, and engaging talent and share that knowledge with the team.
Who you are:
You have professional experience sourcing for professional positions (technical roles preferred) and have a basic understanding of the various roles at technology companies and startups.
You exhibit a strong technical aptitude.
You have advanced experience with tools such as Boolean, LinkedIn search, and more.
You are responsive - listen carefully, respond quickly.
You have a deep passion for problem-solving through research.
You exude a proactive and results oriented attitude.
You have familiarity with startup culture & enjoy the fast-paced nature of them.
You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
