The role

As a Product Manager, your mandate is to drive product initiatives from inception to launch. This role will impact ONE’s vision by executing the payments strategy to support our existing and future products. You will work closely with the designers, engineers, marketers, and other cross-functional team members throughout the firm. working on. This role reports to India Product Lead.

This role is responsible for

  • Identifying opportunities, building business cases, and defining product vision and strategy for your team

  • Defining, documenting, and communicating objectives, requirements and constraints for product initiatives

  • Having a deep understanding and empathy for our customers and members

  • Managing the entire product lifecycle through ideation, planning, and execution

  • Continuously testing and leveraging insights to inform decisions

  • Creating, maintaining, and evangelizing your team's product roadmap

  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product marketers to build the product

  • Communicating plans, progress, and decisions to internal stakeholders and executives

  • Representing the product organization externally with customers and partners

You bring

  • Outstanding written & verbal communication

  • 10 years+ of experience as a Product Manager with extensive knowledge of the Payments landscape. You've built and shipped big projects in a zero to one environment

  • Passion for the customer. You're working to put a dent in massive, society-wide problems. You're inspired, not daunted, by the scale of what you're up against

  • Problem solving creativity and resiliency. Fintech is a notoriously difficult domain. You relish the challenge of threading the needle between competing priorities, constraints, and market dynamics

  • Experience with the following may be helpful: consumer financial services (or other regulated industries) and/or B2C environments

  • The Triple H Factor: Hungry, Humble, Honest

  • An act-like-an-owner mentality. We have a bias toward taking action

Leveling Philosophy

In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at ONE. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within ONE.
