As Passport continues to evolve, optimizing our finance and accounting processes remains a key priority. We are seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in overseeing critical accounting functions. You will report to the Senior Manager, Accounting and collaborate closely to refine our accounting infrastructure, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll do:
Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, focusing on improving efficiency.
Support the month-end close process, journal entries, reconciliations, and other essential tasks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, proactively identifying and resolving processing issues.
Provide guidance on accounting matters, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
Continuously validate the accuracy of the general ledger (GL).Develop and implement improved accounting processes to enhance internal and external controls, ensuring audit readiness.
Expand on accrual and reconciliation frameworks.
Administer corporate spend platforms and enforce related policies.
Contribute to ad hoc projects, research, and strategic initiatives.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.5+ years of experience in accounting, including both operational and technical expertise.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
Active CPA license and/or Big 4 experience (strongly preferred).Supervisory experience.
Proven experience in building scalable accounting processes for high-growth companies.
In-depth understanding of financial statement preparation.
Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and other ERP systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach and ownership mentality.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
Collaborative and team-oriented; you thrive in partnerships and are enjoyable to work with.
$115,000 - $125,000 a year
The cash compensation is scoped for Tier 1 cities such as San Francisco or New York. Other locations will vary based on our geographical pay approach. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, experience and expertise, and may vary from the level and amounts listed above.
