Analytics Lead

Who we are

Path is a healthtech company dedicated to making mental health care work for everyone. Path takes a patient-first approach, where treatment is more accessible, personalized, and effective. With Path, it’s easy to find a high-quality therapist or psychiatric clinician who accepts insurance and is actively accepting new patients.

What we’re solving

Over 65 million Americans have a treatable mental health issue — that’s 1 in 5 people. Today it’s difficult to find a provider, and for those with complicated conditions, it’s nearly impossible to find coordinated care. We’re here to fix this.

Our Mission

Path's mission is to make mental healthcare work for everyone.

The Role

We are hiring an Analytics Lead to build Path’s business intelligence and analytics capabilities. This person will be responsible for driving data driven decision-making across the company by developing a roadmap for centralized reporting and how data should be consumed at Path, managing and growing a team of embedded data analysts, and working closely with cross-functional leaders across the company to understand and meet their needs. This role will touch every part of the business, from shaping what data should be captured, to defining metrics that measure progress, to synthesizing how our company is performing.

You Will

  • Define and build the analytics operating model - people, process, data and technology - that enables data driven decision-making throughout the company.

    • People: Build a team that can meet our organizational needs and short- and long-term

    • Process: Define and own the processes through which Path consumes data (you will be the responsible party for actionable, reliable reporting/dashboards)

  • Deliver core company reporting at the company, functional and initiative level, as well as ad hoc analyses. This includes:

    • Being the responsible party for Path’s centralized reporting working and improving on a continuous basis

    • Defining and executing on how we should embed centralized reporting and data consumption within our operating cadences

  • Develop an analytics roadmap in collaboration with the data team to continuously improve data access, consistency, usability, integrity and security. This includes:

    • Working with cross-functional stakeholders (business operations, clinical, finance, marketing, product, operations, etc.) to understand their needs and define a prioritized roadmap (data, tooling) to address them

    • Support change management of enabling people to “self-serve” on analytical tools (e.g., teach how to fish Looker) and uplevel analytical rigor (i.e., teach people how to think)

You Are

  • A seasoned people leader, with extensive management and hiring experience, ideally in a start-up environment (healthcare is a plus)

  • A first principles, structured thinker focused on building machines and repeatable, reliable processes

  • An expert in SQL and Looker (or similar data visualization platforms), and able to manage the work of data analysts operating in SQL, Looker and LookML. Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel

  • Experienced in leading especially complex analyses and serving as a thought partner to Data teams on requirements throughout the data pipeline

  • Highly collaborative and skilled at working with and influencing stakeholders across the company (technical and non-technical audiences)

  • An organized manager who can lead the work of the data analyst team and track progress against overall roadmap

  • A strong communicator that can simplify complex problems via simple data visualizations and clear write-ups for both technical & non-technical audiences

  • Business-minded in how you approach problems and are eager to understand what the data means from the context of business objectives and customer outcomes

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a high growth/rapidly changing environment
