Marketing Tech & GoHighLevel Specialist

About the Role

Pause Breathwork is on a mission to change the way high-achieving women scale their businesses by expanding nervous system capacity, not just strategy.

We move fast, build tight systems, care deeply about the customer experience, and refuse to settle for average.

As our Marketing Tech & GoHighLevel Specialist, you are the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, Delivery, and Operations.

You take what our designers build and make it work. You take what our strategists envision and make it run. You ensure every funnel, automation, workflow, integration, email, product, tracking system, and customer journey functions exactly as intended.

Every system that moves someone from lead β†’ buyer β†’ client β†’ student is part of your world.

You don't wait for someone else to discover that something is broken. You proactively monitor, test, troubleshoot, improve, and document our systems so issues are resolved before they affect the customer experience or revenue.

This is not a task-taker role.

This is a builder and ownership role for someone who thinks in systems, understands how marketing technology connects to revenue, and takes pride in creating infrastructure the rest of the team can trust.

You'll work across our marketing ecosystem while continuously looking for opportunities to automate repetitive work, improve efficiency, strengthen reporting, and integrate AI into the business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build, connect, maintain, and QA funnels including opt-ins, sales pages, order forms, upsells, downsells, thank-you pages, and book-a-call flows.

  • Own GoHighLevel workflows, automations, pipelines, campaigns, tagging, segmentation, and CRM hygiene.

  • Monitor integrations across GHL, Zapier, Make, Slack, Stripe, and other systems.

  • Execute and optimize email broadcasts, launch sequences, nurture flows, behavioral triggers, and upsell/downsell logic.

  • Manage marketing dashboards, reporting, campaign metrics, and the marketing/revenue calendar.

  • Conduct final end-to-end QA before campaigns go live.

  • Manage ManyChat flows, lead routing, tracking, and automation.

  • Publish and optimize podcast and YouTube content, including show notes, SEO, descriptions, tags, and timestamps.

  • Support live webinars and launches, ensuring all pages, links, emails, automations, tracking, and follow-up systems work properly.

  • Maintain course and program infrastructure including Thinkific, product access, drip schedules, onboarding, offboarding, and student journeys.

  • Ensure sales automations, booking funnels, reminder sequences, and closer calendars are functioning correctly.

  • Support affiliate tracking, links, codes, and backend setup.

  • Create and maintain SOPs and system documentation.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to integrate AI, automate repetitive tasks, and improve team efficiency.

Tech Stack

You'll work across tools including:

  • GoHighLevel (GHL) β€” primary CRM, automation, email, funnel, and pipeline platform

  • Thinkific β€” course hosting and student experience

  • Zapier β€” automation and integrations

  • Make β€” advanced workflow automation

  • ClickUp β€” projects, tasks, and technical request management

  • Notion β€” documentation and SOPs

  • Slack β€” internal team communication

  • Stripe β€” payments and product configuration

  • Zoom β€” webinars and calls

  • Libsyn / Podcast Platforms β€” podcast publishing and distribution

  • YouTube Studio β€” publishing and SEO

  • ManyChat β€” conversational marketing and lead generation

  • WordPress / Website Platforms

  • Pause Breathwork App

  • AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, and emerging automation platforms

You don't necessarily need deep expertise in every tool on day one, but you must be technically confident enough to learn platforms quickly and understand how they connect.

Who You Are

You are this person:

  • Self-led and deeply accountable. You don't wait to be told what needs doingβ€”you go find it.

  • A systems thinker. When you see a broken process, you want to understand why it broke and prevent it from happening again.

  • Proactive by default. Improvements get shipped before leadership has to ask.

  • Extremely detail-oriented. You notice incorrect tags, broken links, missing automations, bad redirects, and strange customer journeys.

  • A strong QA operator. You don't assume something works because it was builtβ€”you test it.

  • Organized. You can manage multiple launches and priorities while keeping clear visibility on what is done, blocked, and at risk.

  • Comfortable owning outcomes. You don't stop at "I completed my part" if the end result still isn't functioning.

  • An excellent communicator. When something is unclear, you ask. When something is blocked, you escalate early.

  • Documentation-minded. You build processes the company can repeat.

  • Genuinely excited about AI. Not because it's trendy, but because you understand how technology can create leverage.

  • Growth-oriented. You continually look for ways to improve conversion, customer experience, execution speed, and efficiency.

  • Mission-aligned. You care about the work Pause Breathwork is doing and want your technical expertise to contribute to something meaningful.

You Are Not This Person

This role is likely not a fit if you:

  • Need a detailed task list before taking action.

  • Consistently wait for leadership to identify problems for you.

  • Treat a build as complete without fully testing it.

  • Go quiet when something is unclear and then miss the mark.

  • Regularly discover issues only after customers or leadership report them.

  • Avoid documentation.

  • Struggle to manage competing priorities.

  • Believe technical execution exists separately from the customer experience or revenue.

  • Are only comfortable working inside one narrow platform.

  • Say "that's not my part" when the customer journey is clearly broken.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means the business can trust its infrastructure.

When a campaign goes live, the team knows it has been tested.

When a customer purchases, they receive the right access.

When a lead books a call, Sales receives the right information.

When leadership reviews a dashboard, the numbers are accurate.

When an automation breaks, you're more likely to discover it through monitoring than through a customer complaint.

When you build something once, you document it so the company doesn't have to reinvent it.
