Senior AI Engineer

Our certified product utilizes AI and machine learning to diagnose cardiovascular diseases, the leading cause of death worldwide, by analyzing ECG scans. We have established partnerships with renowned global healthcare providers and are backed by leading European and US VCs.

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer to join one of the best AI teams in the region. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI models and systems that help to save people’s lives around the world.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will collaborate closely with other engineering and medical teams to solve complex problems and play a central role in the success of the company.

Your Role

• Design and develop state-of-the-art AI models and algorithms that power the core of our product

• Collaborate closely with our data scientists, software engineers and medical team to define AI requirements, develop prototypes, and deliver scalable AI solutions

• Lead end-to-end AI project lifecycles, from medical data collection and preprocessing to model training, optimization, deployment, and monitoring

• Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, identifying new opportunities to improve existing systems

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and researchers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and sharing best practices to foster a culture of learning and excellence

• Use AWS to train and deploy models at scale

• Contribute to research papers

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.

• Extensive experience as an AI Engineer, developing and deploying AI models and systems

• Proven track record of delivering complex AI projects from ideation to deployment

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, and experience with popular AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Fond of the latest technological development

Monthly salary: 4,000-6,000 EUR gross (depending on seniority) + equity
