Marketing Copywriter

Responsibilities

  • Create selling and engaging copy for diverse advertising materials (creatives, sales emails, landing pages, product descriptions, video scripts, social media ads, website content).

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand QIC's product features, benefits, and target audience, creating highly targeted and effective selling content.

  • Apply persuasive writing techniques to highlight key selling points, address objections, and drive audience engagement and action.

  • Research target audience, customer needs, and conduct competitor analysis to gain a deep understanding of the industry and market trends.

  • Work closely with the design team to ensure copy aligns with visual elements and brand messaging.

  • Edit, revise, and proofread copy for accuracy, clarity, and consistency while following brand guidelines.

  • Stay updated on advertising and copywriting industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar position in the MENA (preferably agency (creative, digital marketing etc.)

  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and the ability to tailor content to target audiences

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English and Qatari Arabic)

Conditions

  • Remote or hybrid work, long-term contract with QIC

  • Payment in US dollars

  • Full-time work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday

  • Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 28 days of vacation, and 10 sick-day-offs

  • Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
