Junior Technical Support Specialist
What you'll do
Regnology is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Junior Technical Support Specialist to join our support team. In this role, you will provide specialized support for our regulatory reporting products, ensuring that our clients receive timely and accurate assistance. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate regulatory requirements and maximize the value of our solutions.
Your key accountabilities are:
Provide support for our regulatory reporting products, addressing client inquiries and resolving technical issues with a focus on system performance, data handling, and infrastructure reliability.
Answering/solving, routing and following up client requests (via ticket system, telephone, etc)
Collect and analyze all required data for a ticket, including logs, configurations, and system information, to verify, reproduce, and troubleshoot errors effectively.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to Linux-based systems, Kubernetes container infrastructure, and SQL databases.
Address problems involving data integration, report generation, and software functionality, ensuring seamless product operations.
Collaborate with internal teams, including product development to resolve complex issues and escalate as necessary.
Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and technical issues in our support ticketing system.
Contribute to internal knowledge bases by documenting recurring issues and solutions.
Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and advancements in Linux, Kubernetes, and SQL to provide informed and proactive technical support.
Why we should decide on you
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in a technical support or client-facing role.
Good knowledge of Linux environments, including Bash scripting.
Understanding of Kubernetes container infrastructure and its operations.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with regulatory reporting software, financial data integration is a plus.
