RETHINK Retail is seeking a hybrid Producer/Editor to lead the planning, production, and delivery of high-quality content across podcasts, webinars, video, and select written formats. This role sits at the center of our editorial, client, and community work, acting as the connective tissue between clients, internal teams, and creative partners. This is a deliberately hybrid role. During peak production periods—most notably the run-up to and aftermath of NRF—you'll operate primarily as a producer, owning execution end to end. Outside those windows, shift into more in-house editing, bringing editorial consistency across projects and reducing our reliance on external freelancers. You'll own execution while contributing strategic input, ensuring everything we produce reflects RETHINK's authority, credibility, and commitment to delivering real value for retail leaders. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to turn great ideas into polished, on-time deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Content Production & Delivery: Lead end-to-end production for audio and video content—a growing slate of weekly podcasts, webinars, virtual events, long-form video, and short-format social. Own production timelines, run of show, speaker prep, recording logistics, and post-production workflows, ensuring consistency in quality, format, and brand standards across all outputs.
In-House Editing: Serve as the team's dedicated audio and video editor between production peaks, maintaining editorial consistency across all content and reducing dependence on external editing partners.
Webinar Ownership: Serve as production manager and primary point of contact for RETHINK Retail webinars as this function transitions into editorial, from kickoff through delivery.
NRF & Event Production: Manage the high-volume slate of on-site and post-event NRF deliverables—podcasts, video interviews, and recap content—hitting the tight publishing timelines clients expect after the conference.
Project Management & Collaboration: Act as the intermediary between clients and internal or external creative teams—video editors, designers, and writers—managing multiple parallel projects with clear timelines, scopes, and expectations.
Team Scaling: Hire and manage freelance and contractor support as needed to scale production during peak periods.
Strategic Content Support: Advise internal teams and clients on content formats, storytelling approaches, and production feasibility, translating client objectives into compelling, audience-relevant content that aligns with RETHINK's editorial standards.

Content is delivered on time, on brief, and at a consistently high standard—even at peak NRF volume.
Editorial quality and consistency improve as external editing dependency drops.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 4–7+ years in content production, media, or program management, ideally in B2B or professional communities.
Production & Editing Craft: Strong background in video, audio, and webinar production, with hands-on editing chops—this hybrid skill set is central to the role.
Stakeholder Management: Comfortable managing clients and senior stakeholders with executive presence, and setting firm expectations on deliverables and timelines.
Organization: Exceptionally organized, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
Collaboration: Solutions-oriented, with experience directing freelancers and external production partners.
