As we continue refining and improving our tax processes, we’re seeking a skilled Tax Specialist with strong ProConnect experience to support our team during an initial project-based engagement — with the potential to grow into a longer-term role.

About the Role

We are seeking a Tax Specialist who is highly proficient in Intuit ProConnect Tax Online to assist with preparation, review support, and system optimization during tax season and related projects.

This role will begin as a short-term or seasonal engagement. However, for the right candidate, there is potential for expansion into a longer-term or full-time role as our firm continues to grow.

This position is ideal for someone who:

• Works efficiently and independently

• Is comfortable navigating ProConnect with minimal oversight

• Understands both technical tax preparation and workflow discipline

• Enjoys improving systems while delivering accurate returns

What You’ll Do

• Prepare a variety of tax returns using ProConnect (1040, 1041, 1120S, 1065, 1120, 990, and state filings)

• Review source documents and identify missing or incomplete information

• Communicate clearly with internal team members regarding return status and questions

• Assist in clearing review notes and resolving open items

• Support e-file processing and finalization procedures

• Help improve ProConnect workflows, templates, and standardized processes

• Assist with cleanup or extension projects as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated proficiency in Intuit ProConnect Tax Online (required)

• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns

• Strong understanding of tax forms, schedules, and supporting documentation

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines in a structured workflow environment

• Clear, professional communication skills

• CPA, EA, or tax-focused accounting background preferred
