
Accounts Payable Analyst
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst located in South America / Europe to join our Finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, supporting strong financial operations across the company.
You will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, maintaining vendor relationships, supporting month end closing, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Review invoices for proper approval and supporting documentation
Match invoices with purchase orders and contracts
Prepare and execute payment runs
Maintain vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
Reconcile accounts payable ledger to general ledger
Support month end and year end closing processes
Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial controls
Assist with audit requests and provide required documentation
Continuously improve AP processes and documentation
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
2 to 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience in administrative and accounting processes,, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management and organizational skills
Intermediate/Advanced written and verbal English
Spanish proficiency is a strong advantage, as the accounting team primarily communicates in Spanish
Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
