About the Role

You will own the end-to-end accounting for Saltz’s Dutch entities, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting. This is a hands-on role with full responsibility for building scalable finance operations as the company grows.

This is a full-time position based in the Netherlands.

What you will do:

• Run day-to-day accounting for two Dutch entities (bookkeeping, AP/AR, payments, reconciliations)

• Lead month-end and year-end close with external accounting partners

• Transition accounting from outsourced to in-house

• Prepare and submit statutory filings in line with Dutch regulations

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP

• Work with product and engineering to automate and improve accounting workflows

• Support audits and act as the main finance contact for the Netherlands

What you need:

• 6–8 years of accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP, including statutory and financial reporting requirements

• Experience with full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end close, general ledger, and financial statements

• Ability to manage audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

• High attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Strong ownership mindset and cross-functional collaboration skills
