Care Navigator, Sana Care

Sana is looking for a Medical Assistant to join our virtual practice as a Care Navigator. The Care Navigator will provide clinical and administrative services to support our value-based patient care model. To be successful in this role, you must be highly organized, a great communicator and passionate about patient-centered care.

What you will do

• Assist providers with medication requests, lab results, x-ray results, and prior authorizations

• Search for and coordinate specialty referrals requests

• Facilitate STAT imaging and lab orders

• Answer phone line and provide practice information to external providers

• Monitor EHR inboxes and support providers with patient correspondence

• Work cross-functionally with payer business unit to answer coverage & benefit questions

• Promote teamwork to support a healthy & happy work culture

• Participate in regular touch points regarding patient satisfaction & engagement

About you

• You have 2+ years working as a CMA

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred

• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures

• Ability to make patients feel at ease

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Strong written communication skills

• Entrepreneurial. Self-directed. Excited to innovate.

• Passionate. You care about making our healthcare system work better for patients

• Grit. You aren’t worried about getting your hands dirty and working hard when you need to

$55,000 - $70,000 a year

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $55,000 - $70,000 per year for all US-based remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
