Senior Content Designer

The Role
We're seeking a full-time Senior Content Designer to join our team, building products that help private practices manage client billing and payments. This is a user experience and product writing role—not a copywriting, content marketing, or technical writing position. At SimplePractice, content designers:
Use language and design thinking to solve complex problems
Make our products easier to navigate and more effective for our customers
Advocate for user needs and drive business value
Responsibilities
Contribute to long-term strategy for the client billing side of our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) product suite
Partner with product design, product management, and engineering to redesign core client billing workflows to fit customer mental models, address client needs, and support business goals
Partner with product design, product management, and engineering to launch new payments features that drive adoption at scale
Leverage research findings, data insights, and customer feedback to create clear, concise information experiences that help product users reach their goals
Align with design system, marketing, and customer success teams to create a consistent experience throughout the user journey that meets a high bar for product quality
Desired Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a content designer, UX writer, or product content strategist
Strong UX skills, with work samples that highlight problems you helped solve, your contributions, and customer impact
Experience working on financial products
Experience collaborating in Figma or similar design tools
Experience leading complex projects with minimal direction
Base Compensation Range
$115,000 - $140,000 annually
Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
