Content Creator

We’re looking for content creator to join the Marketing team at Sketch.

What you'll do

You will script, record, present/narrate and edit short-form, educational video that teaches people how to make the most of our product.

On a typical day, you could be:

  • Bringing our educational content to life, creating in-depth tutorials and best practice guides on everything from specific Sketch features, to wider design concepts.

  • Creating content for new product features and updates, including contributing to blog posts, documentation, social posts and tutorials with your work.

  • Collaborating internally with a variety of teams; e.g. working with product to learn a new feature so as an output you can create a video. Or working with Customer Service teams to better understand pain points and how video content could help close them.

What we're looking for

You’ll have presenting/voiceover experience and a background or strong interest in design. Evidence that you can communicate your ideas on video is essential. You'll be a fast learner, able to understand new concepts, figure out new features and communicate them to our audience in a clear way.

You'll be proactive, full of ideas and have a sharp eye for detail, especially when it comes to your own work. You’ll also be willing to experiment and work in new formats.

Our team works remotely and communicates mostly in writing, so you will need to have excellent grasp written English, great communication skills and be comfortable working in a remote position.

A few must-haves:

  • You live/have the right to work in either the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, or Spain.

  • You’re happy to take on a full-time remote role with us.

  • You have experience using Sketch and other design tools to a good level

  • You’re comfortable either narrating your own videos or presenting to camera (either is fine, both is even better).

  • You have experience of working in a fast-paced, product-focussed environment where shipping matters.

  • You like working as part of a team but equally take full ownership of your work and output.

If the above applies to you, please share a showreel or work examples that demonstrates your design and presentation skills. If possible, include any presentation or narration you've done. We look forward to getting to know you!
