Brand Marketing Designer

TL;DR

We're hiring our first in-house Brand Marketing Designer. You'll own how Superwall looks, feels, and communicates across every marketing surface β€” from campaign assets and landing pages to brand systems and motion graphics. We need someone with exceptional taste in tech, fast execution, and the range to work across mediums. This is the first dedicated design role on our marketing team β€” you won't be executing someone else's vision, you'll be shaping ours. Starting part-time with a clear path to full-time. Preferably CET-based.

Why Superwall

Superwall is the monetization engine for subscription apps. We help product and growth teams run paywall experiments, optimize pricing, and increase revenue β€” without shipping code. Over 6,000 apps use Superwall to power 100M+ monthly paywall views and drive real, measurable growth.

We're a small, fast team that values ownership, craft, and getting things done. We hire professionals who care deeply about their work, communicate directly, and enjoy building alongside other sharp people.

What we're looking for

  • ~5 years of design experience, with significant time spent in tech startups, SaaS, or developer tools

  • A portfolio of shipped marketing work β€” campaign visuals, landing pages, social assets, event materials, presentation decks, and brand collateral

  • Strong craft across brand identity, typography, layout, and illustration with demonstrable output

  • Proficiency in Figma (required) plus hands-on experience with at least one of: Webflow, Framer, or similar web design/build tools

  • Motion graphics capability β€” comfortable creating animations, micro-interactions, or short-form motion content (After Effects, Rive, Lottie, or equivalent)

  • AI-first workflow: you actively use AI tools to accelerate your process β€” from ideation and asset generation to prototyping. You're comfortable with prompting, iterating, and integrating AI outputs into production work

  • Understanding of marketing fundamentals: you can interpret campaign performance, think about conversion, and design with intent β€” not just aesthetics

  • Ability to build scalable brand systems, templates, and guidelines that empower non-designers to stay on-brand

  • Proactive, autonomous work style β€” you manage your own priorities from brief to delivery across multiple concurrent projects

  • Proficient English (written and verbal) β€” this is our working language

  • Based in a European timezone (CET Β± 2 hours)

What you'll do

In one sentence: Define how the world sees and experiences Superwall.

  • Create marketing assets and webpages for campaigns, product launches, social media, ads, partnerships, and events β€” this is your primary output and where most of your time goes

  • Own and evolve Superwall's brand identity system across all touchpoints β€” refine the visual language, build guidelines, create templates and tools that let the team move fast independently

  • Produce motion graphics and animated content for product demos, social, and campaigns

  • Design presentation decks, one-pagers, and sales enablement materials that tell our story compellingly

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team on every initiative β€” content, growth, events, product marketing

  • Bring fresh thinking to how the brand shows up β€” challenge the status quo, pitch new ideas, experiment with formats

  • Be scrappy and hands-on with whatever the brand needs β€” from a LinkedIn carousel to a conference booth to a product launch kit

You're the right fit if…

  • You have strong opinions about what good design in tech looks like β€” and you can back them up

  • You're energized by building something from early stage, not maintaining someone else's system

  • You move fast, ship often, and iterate without waiting for perfect briefs

  • You care about the details but you also care about whether the work actually performs

Bonus points

  • You understand how mobile apps work β€” and ideally how they make money (paywalls, subscriptions, monetization flows)

  • You've worked with or marketed to mobile app developers

  • You have experience in growth, paywall optimization, or subscription monetization space

  • You have your own app or side project with subscriptions β€” we love builders

How we hire

  1. Apply β€” Portfolio + a short note that covers:

    1. why Superwall interests you;

    2. a tech/SaaS brand you think does design really well right now and what specifically they get right:

    3. the most impressive thing you've done in your career.

  2. Portfolio review β€” We assess range, taste, and shipped work.

  3. Test task β€” A focused exercise reflecting real Superwall work. Takes hours, not days.

  4. Team interview β€” Conversation with marketing and cross-functional leads.

  5. Paid trial (1–2 days) β€” A real project together.

  • Contract type: B2B contract via Deel or freelance platform (Upwork, Fiverr, or similar)
