Who are we looking for?

We are in search of a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be a key player in enhancing our infrastructure, implementing automation processes, and optimizing the overall development and deployment pipeline.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.

  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

  • Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to enhance scalability and resource utilization.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system and application performance, ensuring high availability.

  • Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure, including resource provisioning, cost optimization, and security.

  • Work on enhancing monitoring and logging solutions to provide insights into system health and performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development and operations.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in a DevOps or similar role.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

  • Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Good proficiency in English (B2 or higher)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

  • Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.

  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and on-premises environments.

Nice to have:

  • Experience ETL (airbyte/airflow/dagster/dbt).

  • Understanding the writing of SQL queries.

  • Worked with Kafka/RabbitMQ.


The conditions:

Is there a probation period, and how long does it last? - Probation period lasts 3 months.

What is the work schedule? - Flexible working hours. It depends on the meeting schedule, as the team works in the GMT+3 time zone, while the Board level is in the GMT-5 and GMT+1 time zones.

Is it possible to work remotely? - There is an opportunity to work fully remotely, we are a remote-first company, and we don't have offices. 

What currency is the salary paid in, and what is the form of employment? 

Salary in dollars (employment under a B2B contract with the USA).

The number of vacation days? - 20 working days per year.

The number of sick leave days? - 3 days. 

Social package (medical insurance, other): Medical insurance becomes available after the trial period. We also offer equipment reimbursement for essential items such as laptops and additional equipment like monitors.
