Account Executive

We're TeeTurtle, a rapidly growing eCommerce/consumer products company that creates nerdy toys, games, apparel, and accessories. We are passionate about creating products and content that allow our fans to express themselves and share meaningful experiences. We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to foster current relationships and develop new ones with retail and distribution partners, both domestically and internationally.

The ideal candidate has mass-market experience and an empathic, customer service-oriented approach with a sales growth mindset. They take big picture ideas and transform them into solid, data-informed action plans for success. Even while seeing high levels of growth, they continue actively seeking out new opportunities. They communicate spectacularly and successfully navigate sticky situations with integrity and transparency. They know when a phone call or meeting is needed in place of an email.  They thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly when the need arises. The ideal candidate would be located in St. Louis (strongly preferred) but we will consider remote opportunity for the perfect candidate.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between TeeTurtle and wholesale partners to ensure that the needs and goals of both parties are met

  • Meets with current partners and future prospects to build new business relationships

  • Actively communicate with wholesale partners to gather information on item sales performance needed for quarterly updates to the Senior Leadership team

  • Own and update wholesale forecasts and actual sales data to detect and communicate trends, opportunities, and threats to the business

  • Evaluate new products to identify appropriate retail placement opportunities and communicate them to wholesale partners appropriately

  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain and Business Intelligence teams on forecasting and inventory planning to ensure the maintenance of required inventory stock levels to meet customer demand

  • Coordinate with the Creative team to develop effective marketing materials that can support the sales efforts of our retail and distribution partners

  • Manage and measure the performance of promotional events to help guide decision making on future event participation

  • Assist in the planning of wholesale events and trade shows to increase awareness of our products and brands amongst retailers and distributors

  • Research new potential wholesale opportunities and communicate them to Senior Leadership to help expand market reach

  • Provide support to the Wholesale Coordinator to solve problems and roadblocks when they occur and communicate these challenges to the Senior Sales Manager when necessary

  • Researches competitive landscape in relation to product placements with key customers

  • Make strategic recommendations supported by data to Senior Leadership to continue growing our wholesale business

  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience

  • Mass Market experience is strongly preferred. 

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Customer service experience is a plus

  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus

Salary Range:

  • $70,000-$90,000/yr
