Lead Producer

We are seeking a Lead Producer to manage our production management processes and game development plan to deliver a AAA action-adventure game. Your ultimate strengths are a mix of hard project management and soft people skills that you use to get large teams to adhere to a vision, within scope and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with directors, leads and producers to drive decision making that achieves the scope and quality requirements of the game. 

  • Adaptable and empathic team facilitator and communicator who can motivate and manage multi disciplines and partners to support creating an inclusive team culture.  

  • Own and manage the cross-department mission scheduling and related game deliverables plans through to gold milestone deliverable. 

  • Validates department and feature schedules and ensures they fit into the big picture goals of the game.

  • Analyze the department processes; suggest improvements as they relate to production pillars/domain in support of the production plan.

  • Ensures the implementation of productions process and workflow improvements. 

  • Proactive risk management with a keen eye for when escalation is needed. Provide risk mitigation plans and see them through.

  • Assembles productivity data from the production tracking system and uses that data to create the necessary reporting to steer production forward. All, while ensuring the project requirements and expectations are achieved.

  • Provides internal and external executive summaries of the game development progress

  • Own and ensure the successful delivery of all game mission development.

  • Mentor and provide career feedback to producers.

  • As a people manager, helping your team to achieve their career goals and professional growth.

Requirements & Skills: 

  • Knowledge and experience in creating AAA video games; strongly preferred with action-adventure or narrative heavy game experience.

  • Experience with Jira, Shotgun/ShotGrid, Perforce or other industry standard tasking and version control software. 

  • In depth understanding of how production functions in game development and the need for creative space to experiment, adapt and learn

  • Data analytics background or capability. Preferred.

  • Project Management or Business Administration skills or experience. Preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong capability to manage multiple complex priorities. 

  • Adaptive managerial skills, knowing when to use formal or informal tactics and strategy to achieve project success. 

Qualifications

  • Strong time managerial skills in a technically sophisticated and fast-paced work environment. 

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. 

  • High emotional intelligence and ability to be a servant leader when vital. 

  • At least 6 years of experience as a Producer in a similar field or equivalent experience. 

  • High Attention to detail, timely follow-up, and strong interpersonal skills.

 

TNM considers a number of factors when determining each role's base pay range, including industry benchmarks, location, experience, and other job specific skills. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other incentive compensation including equity and profit share. The estimated base pay range for this role is U.S. only and not applicable for locations outside of the U.S.
TNM offers competitive and comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, unlimited PTO, supplemental life and disability, and more. Eligibility to participate in these benefits may vary for part-time or temporary employees. 

The estimated base pay range for this role is: $159,000 to $213,000.
