As Senior DevOps Engineer you have experience establishing DevOps culture from scratch. You have experience in using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools, deploying applications to cloud services such as Azure. Open minded and always learning, you are smart, driven and talented and enjoy collaborating in a consultative environment. You will guide our clients in best practices in order to achieve project success in addition to contributing to the growth of a great company. This is a fully remote role requiring daily collaboration with stakeholders during GMT-7 and GMT -8 business hours. The preferred candidate can fully align their business hours to GMT-5 time zone or later.
The stated salary range of 115,000 -140,000 USD is applicable for eligible candidates that are located in the United States and hired on as an employee.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead a team of client partner DevOps engineers
Architecture / Design, creation and provisioning of infrastructure.
Deploy and maintain applications / systems.
Collaborate with other engineers to implement operational solutions while defining and adhering to best practices for your program.
Work on remote distributed, cross functional agile teams to train and educate clients and stakeholders on industry best practices.
Document and defend architecture choices with critical stakeholders
Job Requirements:
5+ years related professional experience
Strong experience with Azure Pipelines is required
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools.
Strong experience having built and managed production level Kubernetes clusters is required.
Strong Experience with Terraform is required.
Proficient in at least two programming languages.
Demonstrated knowledge of the ELK stack.
Experience with Prometheus/Grafana for metrics aggregation/visualization.
Experience with automation tools/platforms.
Experience with alerting and monitoring tools.
Experience writing backend applications is a plus.
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum SDLC.
