• REMUNERATION (USD$): $6 per hour. $240 - $715 per month - It all depends on the schedule you choose.

POSITION DETAILS  

• Start Date:  

  • Immediately

• Teaching Hours:  

o Minimum of 40 peak hours per month

o Peak hours: Monday – Sunday from 18h00 – 22h00 (Beijing time). Teachers can choose any 40 peak hours in a month to meet the minimum requirement (10 peak hours a week). Teachers can book more than 40 hours a month.

o Hours are not guaranteed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE) 

• Tertiary qualification

• TEFL, TESOL, TEYL, or CELTA

• 2 years’ online English teaching experience preferred

• Computer literate 

• No criminal record 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE) 

• PC specifications 

  • Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or greater 

  • Memory: 8GB RAM or greater

• Backup power  

  • Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur.

• A stable fibre internet connection 

  • At a minimum of 20 mbps upload and download speeds 

  • PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection  

• Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera. Back-up headset highly recommended 

• Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
