Job Overview:

Think Academy is seeking a diligent and proactive HR Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. This remote role is based in Malaysia, designed to support our US business's daily HR operations. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of related experience in HR tasks, including employee onboarding, offboarding, general HR administration, HRIS management and HR billing management. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is bilingual in English and Mandarin to effectively support our diverse team. This position offers a valuable opportunity for career growth, starting as an internship or contract role with the potential to convert to a regular full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for US operations, ensuring a smooth transition for employees entering and leaving the company.

  • Daily HR Generalist Tasks: Support a range of HR operations, including but not limited to, maintaining HR records, managing employee queries, and assisting with HR policy implementation.

  • HRIS Administration: Maintain and update HRIS on a timely manner to ensure HR process and system efficiency.

  • HR Billing Management: Oversee and manage HR-related billing processes, including verifying and processing invoices and liaising with finance departments to ensure accurate and timely payments.

  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all HR activities comply with legal and company standards. Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records and documentation.

  • Support HR Projects: Assist in HR projects and initiatives as directed, contributing to the improvement and efficiency of HR services.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 0-3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably with exposure to US HR practices.

  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to support our diverse team and business needs effectively.

  • Detail-Oriented: Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with HRIS systems is preferred.

Additional Information:

This position supports US operations; hence the work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Malaysia Time), including necessary breaks. This schedule aligns with US business hours to ensure seamless support and collaboration.
