**This is a Remote position

The Role

An accountant's duties include posting journal entries, updating financial statements, reconciling balance sheet accounts, assisting in preparing monthly financial statements, cross-train with AR and AP responsibilities, assisting with annual financial audits, overseeing sales tax administration and assisting the Controller with assigned projects as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed

• Assist with AR and AP processes as needed

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports

• Assist Controller in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and annual financial audits

• Assist with other accounting projects

What You'll Need:

• BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field

• 5 or more years of experience working as an accountant in a fast paced, agile environment

• Proven experience in a SAAS environment

• Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite preferred

• Experience with reconciling balance sheet accounts

• Experience with preparing work papers to support financial audits

• Experience tracking and reporting inventory is preferred

• Excellent organizing abilities

• Great attention to detail

• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen

• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft and Google products
