Key Accounts Associate

About the Position:

The Key Account Associate role at Vetcove’s team plays an integral role in maintaining and developing relationships with our corporate hospital group partners. The corporate platform was designed to help hospital groups drive compliance with preferred products and vendors. Your role will include using your deep knowledge of the client’s business to develop materials for regular business reviews with minimal guidance and build relationships at all levels of the client’s organizations. This is an outstanding opportunity to build and manage key client relationships, be a platform and product expert, and act as our partners’ go-to for all aspects of Vetcove’s corporate platform. 

The ideal candidate is an analytical and detail-oriented individual with the capacity and desire to succeed in a high growth environment. They have a strong ability to successfully collaborate with others and thrive in a client-facing role. 

Success in this position requires strong project management skills with a focus on client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against partner goals and objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Act as a point of contact for all client day-to-day communication and oversight

  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed working closely with our support, product, and engineering teams 

  • Develop strong relationships with key account and executive sponsors 

  • Manage and grow your own book of business

  • Create and manage scaled trainings and tutorials across all accounts

  • Ensure that the client has a clear and comfortable understanding of the platform and service through training webinars and proactive outreach

  • Support the creation and delivery of data and value-driven quarterly/annual business reviews

You should have:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Superb organization skills and a proactive personality with excellent process-management skills

  • Experience using data and results to demonstrate value and justify expansion 

  • Ability to work as part of a team and be resourceful and adaptable

  • Aptitude for learning new products and simplifying complicated topics and explaining them in terms people can understand

  • Aptitude for learning new products and subject matter, and helping others learn as well

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage competing priorities and multitask

  • A strong desire to learn and grow in a rapidly-growing and dynamic startup environment

  • Working knowledge of Python a plus
