Web Developer Intern

👋Hi there, friend! We are excited to announce our next WebMechanix Academy class - launching in May of 2024! This is a paid internship ($15/hr) designed to kickstart your career at a digital marketing agency. It’s fully remote too!

In case we've never met before, we're WebMechanix - an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Columbia, MD. We develop and manage high-impact performance marketing programs for over 60+ clients, whether that be through a lead generation campaign, search engine optimization, nurturing prospects and enabling sales, creating compelling ads, improving user experience, or creating and deploying custom technical solutions.

Our internship program is designed to train you on the basics of web development while also offering the potential to convert to a full-time position. Join a team of 60+ marketers, developers, and designers who are eager to share their knowledge with you this summer!

Here's what you'll do:

• Get hands-on experience with:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, PHP

  • Client communication and support

  • Dev queue requests/tasks

• Supporting our Development team on Projects

  • Websites, Landing Pages, Applications..etc.

  • Coding

  • Standard user tracking/engagement code

• Meet with your manager every week to discuss career growth, goal setting, and more

Requirements

Here is what you have:

• Some experience in development (College senior/graduate or self-taught)

• Availability and ability to work 20+ hours per week

• Genuine interest and desire to build a career in the web development / digital marketing industry

• Previous web development internships or hands-on experience is preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
