About the role
At ZAVA, we are at the forefront of this transformation, leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery across global markets. We are seeking a Content Localisation Specialist for Spain on a contractor basis, working 3 to 4 days a week.
Reporting to the Head of Organic Growth, this role will be pivotal in using new technology, particularly AI, to support our organic growth and content strategy. While this is initially a fixed-term role, there is potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.
You will work closely with the medical content and organic growth teams to develop a scalable, high-quality process for localising medical content, with an initial focus on our Spanish market expansion.
This will involve using AI to tailor existing materials for reducing manual effort by designing and refining effective AI prompts, validating the outputs, and finalising engaging, user-focused content for the website, marketing campaigns, and user experience touch points.
You will make sure the process preserves clinical accuracy and aligns with ZAVA’s brand voice, content style guide, SEO specifications, and Spanish linguistic, legal, and cultural expectations. You will set up new pages and content structures to ensure timely delivery. The content you produce will be used across a variety of channels – including PPC and email – making a meaningful impact on how people access healthcare services in Spain and other European markets.
Key Accountabilities
Plan, create, and optimise multi-channel marketing content including landing pages, CRM journeys, referral campaigns, and service promotions
Create, review, and optimise AI prompts for scaling and localising medical content
Validate and finalise AI-generated content based on market-specific style guides, brand tone, and medical/legal market requirements
Tailor messaging for different audiences and UK locales, including partner services
Collaborate with Paid, Retention, Organic, and Creative teams to align campaign priorities and messaging
Work with the Creative team to develop assets that bring ideas to life
Use data to inform content decisions and test variations to improve performance
Ensure all content is accurate, user-friendly, medically compliant, and aligned with our tone of voice
Contribute to streamlining and scaling content workflows, including the use of AI tools
Support the wider content and UX writing team with cross-functional initiatives
Technical skills & experience
3 to 5 years of experience in marketing content, ideally in healthcare, tech, or another regulated industry
Experience in using AI to scale and localise content based on market specifications without compromising on quality
Strong copywriting skills across channels, with the ability to adapt for different audiences and formats
Experience working on performance-driven campaigns across Paid, CRM, or Organic channels
Ability to translate briefs and strategy into effective content that performs
Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail
Experience adapting content across markets or partner brands is a plus
Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside designers, marketers, and product teams
Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is required
Familiar with the Spanish healthcare system
Nice to have, but not at all essential
Experience in the healthcare industry or a technology/software company
