YouTube Video Editor Needed

We create sharp, professional videos that are strategically scripted, expertly edited, and tailored to the legal client journey. From educational explainers to powerful testimonials, our content helps attorneys grow—without burning out.

Now, we’re looking for a video editor who’s not only technically skilled but also mission-aligned: someone who values clarity, efficiency, and content that actually moves the needle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Footage Review: Select the strongest takes to tell a clear and compelling story.

  • Long-Form Video Editing: Assemble clean, professional talking head videos (5–10 min) for YouTube and firm websites.

  • Testimonial Edits: Turn Zoom-style interviews into client stories that build trust and credibility.

  • Light Animation: Add simple animations or icons to emphasize key points without overwhelming the viewer.

  • Audio/Visual Enhancement: Use tools like Adobe Enhance Speech to ensure videos are clear and polished.

  • Thumbnail Design: Create clean, clickable thumbnails for YouTube.

  • Upload and Optimize: Finalize and upload videos with titles, descriptions, and visuals ready to go.

Performance Goals

  • Consistently reach 50%+ audience retention on long-form YouTube content.

  • Deliver content that enhances both credibility and clarity for professional audiences.

  • Support the creation of a repeatable video editing system that enables scalable content production.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro

  • Experience with Frame.io (or similar feedback tools)

  • Excellent attention to detail and an eye for clean, modern visuals

  • Strong communication skills and comfort using Slack and Asana

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Understanding of how to keep talking-head videos visually engaging

  • Editors that do not have YouTube long form editing experience

  • Those who focus solely on aesthetic edits with no strategy behind the cuts
