
Senior Compensation Analyst

As the first dedicated Senior Compensation Analyst at BioRender, you’ll leverage your experience creating data models, influencing decisions, and driving improvements to support, design, and deliver our total rewards programs and initiatives.
Reporting to our Head of People and partnering with our HR, Talent, and Finance teams, you will ensure that our total rewards are competitive, sustainable, attractive, and great retention tools. You’ll be a trusted partner in keeping job levels, career paths, and compensation bands updated, and play a key role in ensuring internal and external equity with job offers, compensation, and stock options.
BioRender is remote-first, and this role is open to candidates across Canada and the United States.

You’re adept at partnering with and influencing senior leaders
You’re known for your exceptional attention to detail, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple priorities to meet critical deadlines
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to translate quantitative insights to non-quantitative audiences
You have exceptional discretion and integrity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
What you'll be doing
Managing compensation projects, such as participating in benchmarking and surveys, to calibrate and maintain Biorender’s market positioning and compensation framework
Supporting modeling and running semi-annual performance management/compensation review cycle to ensure pay equity and competitive compensation across teams and geographies
Working with senior leaders across multiple departments to refine career progression and compensation strategy for new and evolving roles in order to attract and retain top talent
Developing formalized processes to enhance compensation-related data and develop strategic insights to reform competitive position in the market
Partnering with Talent on new hire compensation best practices
Providing subject-matter expertise on topics related to compensation
Working with large data sets and conducting ad hoc analyses
What you bring to the table
2+ years of experience as a compensation analyst or financial analyst role, preferably in a high growth SaaS environment
Exceptional knowledge of Excel, with experience building and maintaining complex models
BA/BS degree with an emphasis on work of a quantitative nature, or related practical experience
Experience with Radford, Pave, Option Impact or other compensation benchmarking software is a plus
Previous experience with equity (options or RSU’s) is an asset
