We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to be part of the Business Operations Team, identifying issues and inefficiencies within the organization. With a primary focus on the Operations Department, the analyst will deliver actionable insights by analyzing data and effectively leveraging BI tools.

What will be your responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering:  Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, objectives, and goals. Extract relevant metrics to ensure measurable improvements and alignment with organizational priorities;

• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decisions;

• Process Mapping: Document current business processes and workflows, and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement and optimization;

• BI Tools: Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, AWS Quicksight, or similar tools to create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations;

• Testing and Validation: Support the testing and validating of software solutions and system changes to ensure alignment with business requirements;

• Data Warehouse Support: Assist the Data Team in building a scalable data warehouse for all operations teams, ensuring data quality and consistency;

• Documentation: Prepare clear and concise documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, data dictionaries, and project reports;

• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between different business stakeholders ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements;

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to identify process improvement and innovation opportunities.

Extra valued skills

• Experience in startups or fast-growing companies;

• Familiarity with Python or other data manipulation languages;

• Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum);

• Experience with ERP systems and data extraction;

• Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken);

• 3-5 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Strategist, Operations Analyst, or similar;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practicality and efficiency;

• Proficiency in SQL and Excel;

• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, AWS Quicksight, or similar);

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently, including cross-functional teams with varied expertise;

• Familiarity with business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
